of TCEB

On behalf of the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau, or TCEB, I
would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to TICA for another
successful year.
As the Thai government’s official flagship body for the MICE
sector, TCEB is proud to have enjoyed a long and productive history as
an active partner and supporter of TICA, and we offer our sincere thanks
for the important role you play in spearheading the growth of the vibrant
incentives and conventions sector in Thailand.
Fostering the success of the association and its members is
a core part of TCEB’s mission to support the dynamic business events
industry, and through strategic partnerships like this, we are pleased to
report outstanding results for the fiscal year 2015 (from October 2014 to
September 2015). During the year, a total of 1,095,995 business events
visitors were attracted by Thailand’s endless choice of business destinations,
global standards of service and diverse business opportunities, generating
a revenue of 95,857 million baht. Importantly, more than half of all business
travellers were from the growing incentives and conventions sector,
representing 254,125 and 294,371 visitors respectively.

Looking ahead, TCEB forecasts that the rejuvenated Thailand
CONNECT Welcome Package 2016 together with other marketing initiatives
will enable the Kingdom to achieve a five percent increase over 2015 Mr. Nopparat Maythaveekulchai

To achieve these targets, TCEB has put together the comprehensive Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau
‘Thailand CONNECT…Our Heart, Your World’ strategy, which highlights (Public Organization)
the country’s role not only as a unique destination at the HEART of ASEAN
and an unparalleled business hub at the HEART of both the emerging
Asian region and the global marketplace, but also a thriving hub, where
passionate people offer seamless service from the HEART, and with an
unforgettable smile.
With strong collaboration from industry leaders such as TICA, I
have no doubt the Thai MICE sector will reach even great heights in the
years ahead.
