Danai has more than 20 years of strategic PR and marketing communications experience, and has been consultant to such industries as aviation, automotive, banking and finance, retail, environment, corporate social responsibilities, IT, insurance, tourism, social issues and government sector.

At present, Danai has been running the country’s leading public relations and marketing communications firm, DC Consultants, as well as a premier publishing house under DMG brand for the past 16 years. In January 2007, Khun Danai set up a Human Resource Development Institute: DMG Academy aiming to blend the philosophy and teachings of Lord Buddha to the modern management context.  

Danai has served as an Executive Committee of Marketing Association of Thailand (MAT) in the period of 2002 – 2004. At present, he serves as a Board of Directors of the Millennium World Peace Foundation (MWPF); Executive Committee of Public Relations department, Thai Rice Foundation under Royal Patronage; Committee of the Classical Music Foundation under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra; and the Executive Committee of Advertising Association of Thailand for the year 2004 – 2006.

Danai Chanchaochai holds a master’s degree in marketing from Thammasat University and Gothenberg University, Sweden, and a BBA (First Honors) from Assumption University. He graduated from Clayton High School, St. Louis, Missouri, as an AFS exchange student.

He is columnist for several leading publications in Thailand, including Bangkok Post, Than Sethakij, Manager Daily, BusinessThai, Kom Chad Luek, and Praew Magazine and hosts radio shows under the topics of management and
self-development through Buddhism.

A well-known editor/translator for several best selling titles including The 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness, Asian Branding, The Entrepreneur, Lateral Marketing, King Bhumibhol Adulyadej of Thailand Book Series, King Bhumibhol and Dharma, to name just a few. The highly popular book with a focus on the concept of ‘Dharma’ from a more Western perspective ‘Dharma Moments’is published with an introduction by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, “This book contains plentiful contemporary advice in words that are easy to understand.”
He received Priew Awards as one of the top ten role models of Thailand and has been recently listed among Top 500 Society’s Prime Numbers (The essential Guide to the Social Season 2005) by Thailand Tatler, together with 100 Young Execs 2005 by The Nation Newspaper.  
He is the founder of Konrujai Club, the club that aims to spread the concept of modern Dharma and Vipassana meditation which everyone can apply into everyday life.
Apart from working life, Khun Danai dedicates his time for many social activities such as ‘Don’t Drive Drunk’ campaign; a campaign to enhance the perception about Aids, and national campaign to encourage the reading habit.
