regard to the association, 2009 was a very active year for TICA with the
celebration of our 25th
anniversary
where a number of high profile events, charity activities as well as
regular activities such as the Corporate Familiarisation Trips were stepped-up in
number/frequency. The activities received overwhelming support from fellow
members which proudly emphasise the
association’s purpose and mission. In this regard, the Executive Committee
would like to thank and applaud all members for your loyal and firm
support. Our thanks are also extended to Board of Director members and
Committee members who volunteered their precious time to help plan and
execute activities for the Silver Jubilee. Last
but not least, TICA staff deserves a big ovation for their unconditional
dedication and tireless efforts throughout the year. Thanks to you, our
TICA ladies - you are truly a great team. The
Jubilee commemoration activities will continue into 2010 and we look
forward to members’ support again in launching more and more quality

Khun
Suraphon Svetasreni
has
been appointed as
Governor
of
Tourism
Authority of Thailand.
Khun
Suraphon is
a long serving executive of the TAT and is highly respected
in
the industry. He joined the TAT in 1977, and is the 8th
Governor
of our national tourism organisation. Khun
Suraphon
will be serving a 4 year term effective as of 1 January 2010. Prior
to his appointment as Governor, Khun
Suraphon
was the Deputy
Governor for Marketing Communications. TICA’s
Executive Committee
